AVL Installation & Rigging Crew in Dubai for Event Agencies and AV Houses

01·Short Answer

One crew for install, rigging and power.

Redfox works as the AVL installation and rigging partner behind the production. Event agencies and AV houses bring the show, the design and often the equipment. Redfox brings the crew that installs the sound, video and lighting, rigs it safely, powers it and takes it down again.

When equipment is needed, it can be sourced through our established AVL equipment partners, so you have one point of contact from site survey and planning through installation, show support, dismantling and reinstatement.

02·What We Install

Sound, video and lighting.

Sound. Speakers and line arrays, flown from hoists and truss or ground-stacked, with cable runs and tidy, safe routing.
Video. LED screens, projection screens and displays, flown, ground-supported or mounted on structure, with the rigging and power to suit.
Lighting. Moving lights, washes, effects and decorative lighting on truss, ground support or venue points, with power and control cabling. See event lighting installation and our lighting installation overview.
Set and feature pieces. Suspended features, signage and centrepieces that share the same rigging and power.

03·Rigging

Certified rigging, planned before the lift.

Certified riggers and a lead rigger on site.
Rigging plans and load calculations for each point, the truss and the total suspended load, ready for venue approval.
Motorised chain hoists, controllers and manual chain blocks. See chain hoist rental.
Aluminium truss, ground support and goalposts, rented or fully installed. See truss rental.
Ceiling, atrium and venue points in malls, hotels, ballrooms and halls. See ceiling and atrium rigging.
Method statements, risk assessments and insurance documents for the venue.

04·Power

Temporary power for the show.

Redfox provides temporary power distribution for AVL systems: distribution boards, cabling, weatherproof connections, electrical protection and testing before the show, coordinated with the venue supply or a generator.

05·Equipment

Your equipment, or ours through partners.

Install only. Your AV house supplies the equipment and Redfox provides the crew, rigging and power to install, support and dismantle it.

Install with equipment. Where you need equipment, Redfox sources it through established AVL equipment partners and manages it as part of one package, with rigging hardware, truss and hoists from our own rigging equipment rental stock.

06·How We Work

Working under your production.

Site survey and technical planning with your production manager
Rigging plan, load calculations, power plan and venue paperwork
Preparation and checks of truss, hoists and hardware
Installation, often at night or inside tight venue windows
Show support where needed
Dismantling, loading out and reinstatement of the venue

Redfox regularly works as the technical installation and rigging team under agencies, producers and main contractors, on their schedule and their brief.

07·Proof

Riggers first.

Redfox is a Dubai technical contracting company founded in 2003. Our crew rigged a suspended structure of about 1,500 kg above the central atrium of The Galleria Mall in Abu Dhabi in two days, working from a 42 m spider lift. Read the case study.

We also deliver event rigging in Riyadh and exhibition truss structures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. We do the jobs others called not possible.
